The Raspberry Pi Compute Module 5 (CM5) brings the performance and architecture of Raspberry Pi 5 to the Compute Module ecosystem, providing a compact and flexible system-on-module for embedded and industrial designs.
This Lite variant is supplied without onboard eMMC storage and without wireless connectivity, making it suitable for applications that require external storage, deterministic networking, or custom radio solutions. It features 8GB LPDDR4-4267 SDRAM, offering high memory capacity for demanding workloads such as edge computing, industrial control, multimedia processing, and custom appliances.
Compute Module 5 expands on previous generations with additional I/O capabilities, including PCIe Gen 2, USB 3.0, dual HDMI 2.0, and multiple camera and display interfaces, all accessible via a compatible carrier board such as the Compute Module 5 IO Board.
This variant follows the established Compute Module part-numbering scheme and is fully compatible with Raspberry Pi’s software stack and supported operating systems.
