The Raspberry Pi Compute Module 5 IO Board is an official development and reference carrier board that breaks out every interface of the Raspberry Pi Compute Module 5. It is designed to simplify development, testing, and prototyping, significantly reducing time to market for CM5-based products.
The IO Board exposes a wide range of interfaces including HDMI, USB 3.0, Gigabit Ethernet, MIPI camera and display connectors, PCIe, GPIO, and more. It supports both standard and Lite Compute Module 5 variants, with a microSD card socket available for Lite modules.
With features such as an M.2 M-key PCIe slot, PoE support, RTC battery connector, and fan header, the Compute Module 5 IO Board serves as both a powerful development platform and a reference design for custom carrier boards.
Power is supplied via USB-C, and the board integrates cleanly with the Raspberry Pi IO Case for Compute Module 5, making it suitable for both bench development and enclosed applications.
