Argon ONE UP Base Model: An Open Source ARM Laptop

The Argon ONE UP is a laptop platform built around the Raspberry Pi Compute Module 5 (CM5). Unlike traditional single-board computers in a case, it is designed as a complete, self-contained laptop system with integrated display, keyboard, battery, cooling, and I/O.

The system is supplied with  an Argon ONE UP 40-pin GPIO module, providing access to Raspberry Pi GPIO functionality via USB-C.

To use the Argon ONE UP you need a Raspberry Pi Compute Module 5 and an M.2 NVMe SSD. 

The laptop features a 14″ IPS display with a resolution of 1920 × 1200 at 60 Hz, a full aluminium chassis, and an integrated cooling fan to support sustained performance. Storage is provided via an internal M.2 Key-M NVMe slot, populated with the included SSD.

Connectivity includes Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.0, multiple USB ports, HDMI output, and USB-C with Power Delivery and OTG support. Audio and video input are handled by a 1080p front-facing camera, dual microphones, and stereo speakers.

The Argon ONE UP supports operating systems compatible with Raspberry Pi Compute Module 5, including Raspberry Pi OS, Ubuntu, and Debian-based distributions.

A 45W USB-C Power Delivery power supply is required but not included.
