The Raspberry Pi 45W USB-C Power Supply (EU) is a high-performance power adapter designed for USB-C powered Raspberry Pi devices, especially the Raspberry Pi 5. It delivers up to 5.1V / 5A and supports USB Power Delivery (PD) negotiation, allowing compatible devices to select the optimal power profile automatically.

For Raspberry Pi 5, this enables the system to increase the USB current limit from the default 600 mA to 1.6 A, providing sufficient power for demanding peripherals such as SSDs, hard drives, and other high-current USB devices.

Compared to the 27W version, the 45W power supply offers a wider range of higher-current PD profiles, making it suitable not only for Raspberry Pi products but also for third-party PD-compatible devices such as smartphones, tablets, and laptops.
