Raspberry Pi Pico 2

Raspberry Pi Pico 2 is a low-cost, high-performance microcontroller board built around the Raspberry Pi RP2350 microcontroller. It is software-compatible with the original Raspberry Pi Pico series and retains the same form factor, GPIO pinout, and micro-USB connector for power and programming.

Compared to the original Raspberry Pi Pico, Pico 2 provides increased performance through a higher core clock speed, double the on-chip SRAM, double the onboard flash memory, more capable processor cores, additional security features, and enhanced interfacing capabilities.

This version does not include wireless connectivity. It does not support Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. For applications requiring wireless communication, a Raspberry Pi Pico W–class board is required.

The RP2350 microcontroller introduces a dual-core, dual-architecture design, allowing selection between Arm Cortex-M33 cores or Hazard3 RISC-V cores. It also integrates a comprehensive security architecture including secure boot, hardware cryptography acceleration, and a true random number generator.

Raspberry Pi Pico 2 is programmable using C/C++ and Python, with full documentation available, and is suitable for both prototyping and production use.
