The Raspberry Pi Camera Module 3 Sensor Assembly NoIR (76° standard lens) is a standalone camera sensor module designed for applications that require infrared sensitivity while maintaining a standard field of view.
This NoIR variant uses the same Sony IMX708 12-megapixel sensor found in the Raspberry Pi Camera Module 3 AF and offers identical powered phase detection autofocus performance. Unlike the standard version, the IR cut filter is omitted, allowing the sensor to capture infrared light. This makes it suitable for low-light imaging, night vision, and computer vision applications when paired with an external IR illuminator.
With its 76° standard lens, this version provides a balanced field of view suitable for general-purpose imaging and embedded vision systems. Advanced features such as HDR, dynamic defect pixel correction, and QBC re-mosaic processing ensure high image quality while keeping integration simple and cost-effective.
