Pimoroni Inky Frame 7.3" – Pico 2 W E-Ink Display

The Inky Frame 7.3" is a large colour E Ink display designed for ultra-low power applications such as home dashboards, digital photo frames, data displays, and IoT interfaces. It is powered by a Raspberry Pi Pico 2 W microcontroller featuring the RP2350 chip with wireless connectivity.

The display uses E Ink Spectra 6® technology, capable of showing six colours: black, white, red, green, blue, and yellow. With a resolution of 800 × 480 pixels, it delivers clear, paper-like visuals that remain visible in bright light and consume power only when refreshing.

Five front buttons with LED indicators allow interaction with the display, while Qwiic/STEMMA QT connectors enable easy connection of sensors and expansion boards. A microSD card slot allows storing images, caching data, or loading assets for user interfaces.

Thanks to the integrated RTC chip and deep sleep mode, the device can run for extended periods on battery power, making it ideal for wireless data displays and battery-powered projects.
