Bi2C Kit: Qwiick & Flex cable 200mm

This board is an adapter that allows you to use Sparkfun Qwiick as well as Adafruit Stemma peripherals with the Bi2C system.

The adapter is very simple and only contains the required connectors for the different systems.

When connecting Qwiick or Stemma peripherals to a Bi2C equipped micro controller board the flex cable connection must be straight, i.e. the flex cable must be turned the same way on both boards. For instance if the blue stiffener on the cable is facing down towards the board on the MCU board, it must also face down on the adapter board.

If you are attaching Bi2C peripherals to a Qwiick or Stemma board the connection needs to be flipped. This means that if the blue stiffener on the cable is facing down towards the board on the adapter board, it must face upwards on the Bi2C board.

This is an extra long flex cable for that project where you need to put your expansion devices a bit away from the controller board.

Just like the standard 100mm cable that comes with each Bi2C unit this cable can be folded, glued and taped to the walls of your enclosure to create clean and elegant installations.
